OMF. I drew with a pencil. Not only did I draw with a pencil, I continued to color it with markers, color pencils, and inked it with a brush!!!

This is new for me. >.>

Despite the picture's obvious flaws, I'm just happy with myself. This was a lot of firsts for me. I've never really colored with markers, and definately never inked with a brush. I have colored with color pencils though, I'm not that gimped, but it had been many many years. I wanted to give these all a shot in order to warm up for my commission (definately didn't want to do that cold O_o) so it will be worth the money.

. Who patiently guided me through most of it, and gave me exellent instruction on markering and let me barrow her glorious markers and inking brushes.

BUT! Since the point of this drawing was to simply practice, critique, advise, and words of wisdom are muchly appreciated. Despite the fact that this too 10x longer to do on paper than it would in Photoshop, the fact that I am holding it and staring at it on a piece of paper is IMMENSELY rewarding, and I want to continue doing it. Plus, I'm here to get better.

And to boot....I think this is the first color thing I've done of Kalle.
