I love how you captured his expression. It's the wild-eyed, crazed, and scared look that is so out of character but still him that makes me love how dynamic he is in the story (personally, still second to Ed though.... *gets bricked*).
Anyway, I love how you can use solids and still blend them into such gradients that makes the whole piece flow beautifully.
I love this picture so much! Your style, and how you made him look.... It's all perfect! I've seen this picture a bunch before now, and I figured that if I've come back to love on it so many times then I should PROBABLY leave a review xD
This is so good, he looks so...devestated...wahhhh! Poor sad Roy! *total fangirl glompage of awesome-boosting-goodness* I. LOVE. IT. Seriously, this is stunning, the emotion, the smoke, the coloring, and I love how his face isn't exquisitely perfect, it's human and distraught, but still beautiful in it's...humanity. I'm getting deep, but seriously, totally fav-ing I have no idea how you pulled off the 'looks like a PERSON, yet is still wonderfully gorgeous', but you did it. I'd never be able to in my wildest dreams, but I'm glad I found someone who could!
This has so much energy I love it! I also love the texture of the (digital) paint which makes it not so perfectly smooth like a lot of digital work, which isn't a bad thing either way just a different and equally as amazing style
There's something about his facial expression which grabs me, so used to the stern, serious Roy Mustang that it's great to see almost a vulnerable side! The colouring style The vibrancy is amazing and the softness reminds me of pastels or chalk.
