I'm really late to the tumblr scene... but I think I like it. For some reason it relieves some of the stress and pressure that comes when I try to decide if something is worthy or appropriate for my DA or portfolio site, and I can just throw stuff up on it. So I've been slowly dumping artwork on it... I've collected quite a bit the last 3 years... haha.

Fun fact time, in case you're still curious! Someone already mentioned the refresh issue, but it's not just that- DA only counts one hit per IP address, if I recall correctly. In which case, if the first one to hit 400k has visited your page in the past (assuming he/she still hasn't changed IP) then it won't go up, and the next person to come will come in, still seeing 400k counted views.
And if THAT person also has visited your page in the past... you get the idea.
