Under Lock and Key: Cast Busts

The lovely cast of the comic that and I are doing and is currently underway. The top row of characters are hers, and the bottom row are mine.

A little different style for this than my usual CG. Mostly because WOW that would've taken a lot of time, but also because this is a little more comic-appropriate. I felt like this style suited these busts better, rather than going all out with in-depth CG just because I could.

Quick and crappy character descriptions follow. Vert is so much better at writing these, so if you want more info, check out her drawings of them. From left to right, top to bottom...

Sinead: Saucy and eccentric, Sinead would love to be the beautiful temptress and bad girl that all our parents warned us about, but probably couldn't keep a straight face long enough. She has a darker sense of humor that finds the uncomfortable situations she puts people in delightfully amusing.

Wyatt: Stern, practical, and egotistical, Wyatt has little conscience, and rarely gets attached to people. Weighing matters completely objectively without regard to people, he will make decisions based purely on what is best for the overall goal. If it means sacrificing a life, then so be it.

Dom: Despite generally being rather grumpy and edgy, Dom is actually an extremely caring person. Tired and paranoid, he looks much older than he actually is, and just tries to get through the day with as little surprises as possible.

Ethan: Made only within the last year, and clearly unfinished, Ethan possesses more personality and intelligence than ever intended. His accidental AI is still very childish in nature, but his intelligence is not. He may behave like a child, but he is far from innocent...

Isham: A devoted and horrible bookworm, Isham spends little time away from his studies, leaving his social skills with much to be desired. So focused on his studies, he is awkward and neurotic when forced to associate with people.

Kalle: Somewhat crude, but delightfully eccentric and self-confident, Kalle is very simple minded, and goes after what he wants with little planning or thought. Light hearted and somewhat immature, Kalle takes on the odd situation with surprising ease, and little seems to bring down his levity.

Aidan: If curiosity killed the cat, this boy would have been dead a dozen times over. Insatiably curious, Aidan has an overwhelming need to know - and touch - just about everything. Telling him not to will only inflame that need. He tries hard to resist it, but in the end he simply can't help himself. Incredibly kind hearted and gullible to a fault.

Raine: Small, but spunky, Raine is a good friend of Aidan's, and sadly does a poor job of restraining his curious needs. Inquisitive by nature, Raine finds the unknown incredibly alluring and beautiful, making it a subject for most of her photography. Overwhelmed by the odd circumstances, she tries to handle it in a calm manner, despite freaking out on the inside.
